Shepton High School Band Boosters
The Shepton High School Band Boosters is the organization that provides support for our band students and directors, and includes all Shepton Band parents.
What do we do? The Boosters work closely with the directors, who are also Band Booster members. They are here to assist the band directors where needed, allowing the directors more time to focus on developing our students' talents by coordinating activities for the band and, where necessary, providing additional resources.
To keep costs as low as we can, we supplement the limited funds allotted us by PISD. With these extra funds, we can help support the educational experience for each of our students and continue the excellence of our band.
How can you help? You can help by becoming an active member of the Boosters! This means volunteering at events when it works for your schedule. We appreciate our volunteers and encourage you to help at least once. That doesn’t mean you have to volunteer for everything, but your participation is encouraged and appreciated. It takes an army of volunteers to make things run smoothly for the band, and we need your help. Your kids may not tell you how much they love having you there, but they do!
What do the Shepton Band Boosters provide? We provide volunteers, funds, and any other support requested from our directors.
Volunteers, including chaperones for the games, UIL, concerts, Spaghetti Supper fundraiser, social events, and more
Funds for the following:
- New equipment needs
- Clinicians and instructors for band camps for marching band and concert band
- Marching drills creation
- Custom music arrangements
- TMEA Convention for Band Directors
